Who are you?
Hello! I am Ferial! I am 35, I live in Santa Monica, a lovely beach city in Los Angeles, with my husband of 10 years. I am the Founder & CEO at 365HANGERS, an online fashion and lifestyle company, showcasing high end designer labels on young women of different body shapes and size.
What do you do?
Every day, my team and I work hard to bring fashion to the fashion obsessed; even if the fashion obsessed don’t have deep pockets.
What dreams are you working toward?
I dream to make 365HANGERS a well known name in making fashion accessible to all regardless of how much they weigh or how tall they are. Fashion is about bringing the best of you in what you wear, governed by an individual and not to be dictated by a brand.
What has been your biggest obstacle?
People not getting our business model. Also, the industry professionals’ attitude towards a fashion company who’s committed to grow organically without flashy presence. We have been very successful soon after our launch in 2010, and today we reach out to more than 11,000 fashionistas via social media and subscription channels.
This growth has posed a challenge of meeting our target market’s continued demand of seeing new products with limited resources. I am excited to actually work in 2012 to eliminate this challenge.
What advice would you give to other women?
Be Smart! Think Smart! Speak-up and don’t be quiet. Share your dreams, your ideas, your aspirations. Know you are worthy and alone you can make a difference. Surround yourself with people who can make you a better person. Be heard, and definitely be seen!
