Lately I’ve been in a Palm Springs state of mind, fantasizing about lounging poolside with a pink flamingo in my drink. Maybe it’s just this dress and fedora that has me nostalgic for a simpler, albeit more rocking time, but whatever it is I’m in serious need of a Retro-Active vacation!
Let’s talk about the dress for a moment, shall we? With a a parade of pink flamingos and palm trees, this dress is one of those fun pieces that comes out every summer and of course I have to “theme it up”. It’s an instant people-pleaser, how can you not make people smile when you’re wearing flamingos on your dress?!
(“Theme it Up” means take a perfectly costumey piece and make it more costumey with matching and themed accessories)
Add a straw fedora and wicker bag and with this ensemble, I might as well be in Palm Springs. Someone bring me a drink with a flamingo it in pronto!
