Style Theme: Riveting Rosie

Style Theme: Riveting Rosie

I am seriously obsessed with polka dots!  My wardrobe is nearly 30% polka dots and my love of spots knows no bounds. It’s purely coincidence that I’m wearing polka dot pants in this style theme and the last one. Large, small, colored, black & white… I stay spotted. There is no print that screams fun and kitsch like polka dots and mixing them with other prints a la stripes just adds to the prints party! This retro ensemble instantly felt like Rosie The Riveter 2.0!

These pants are a score from new local vintage boutique Wear House Boutique. Wear House specializes in carefully selected plus-size vintage and is owned by two lovely women who werk, Monique & Corrinn! The scarf was a cool gift the ladies specially picked out for me during their bloggers event to showcase the store. They knew I would love a red and blue checkered scarf… am I that obvious?!?! :)

Well if loving polka dots is wrong, I don’t want to be right!

Polka dots were made for you my dear! Throw in stripes, a scarf worn turban style, and a colored shoe, and you have outfit perfection!
