Life of Ms. Thought: Easy Like Sunday Afternoons

{Coffee.. how I love thee, let me count the ways}

I love when it feels like time stands still and you have the option to meander through the day at a glacial pace. Sunday’s are always that day for me. After a bit of a busy week, it feels great to sit with the laptop, my favorite heart mug (filled with the deliciousness of caffeine) and catch up on my blog reading, commenting and freelance projects.

This past Thursday I volunteered at the Independent Fashion Bloggers “Evolving Influence Conference” in New York at Milk Studios. To say the experience was amazing would be an understatement. The conference was full of so many amazing fashion bloggers I communicate with on a regular basis via our blogs, Twitter and Facebook. To finally meet these amazing women in person was surreal.

It was great to finally meet and chat with Vahni from Grit & Glamour, Christina of Profesh Style, Chelsea Rae of Dear Winnie, Sammy D of SammyD Vintage, Wendy B of Wendy Brandes Jewelry, Christina of Love Brown Sugar, Toya of Limerck Lane, Nubia of Nubia’s Nonsense, Jai of The Fat & Skinny on Fashion and so many more stylishly dressed and talented bloggers!

I didn’t get to snap many pictures of my outfit, but Sammy D got a shot of my Western/Kindergarten teacher ensemble!

{Vintage Dress for… $5 Dollars! Read Sammy D’s coverage of the conference}

Finally coming down from the great bloggers’ high and taking it easy on a perfect Sunday afternoon.

How are you spending your Sunday?

    Yes! That would be lovely. I actually want to ask you some questions on the event, but I’ll hit you on the side. :)
