Well Heeled: Melody Ehsani

I love it when independent designers create beautiful pieces of footwear that rival some of the bigger names at amazing price points. Accessory designer Melody Ehsani has done just that with her Spring 09 footwear and accessory line. Long in the accessory game with celebrites from Rihanna, Keri Hilson and Solange Knowles rocking Melody Ehsani, the woman is on the move constantly bring fresh, urban sensibility to her designs with finger rings, gold plated earrings and Eye of Ra images.
Melody Ehsani draws her themes through all of ther lines, including her shoes. Balancing killer stillettos with bold colors, gold chains and tribal prints could risk being over-the-top, but M.E. keeps her shoes fresh and dynamic. And with all (except one) under $200 you can’t help but walk on air in Melody Ehsani’s fly shoes.
I’m loving the pink/gold chain combo and the silver Chanel-esque booties.

I really like the blue and white ones! They’re not priced badly at all, though one has to wonder how long I’d be able to walk in them
