MLK is one of my heroes, not far behind Jesus. What I admire most about him is that he was a well-to-do African American who didn’t need to suffer the indignities that he put himself through. He could have gone and lived his privileged life but he believed that until we are all free nobody is free… My faith I practice everyday through prayer and meditation. Long runs are also a time for connecting with God. In my life God is in charge and when he’s not, things don’t go well

I couldn’t agree more. I think his life compels us all to come out of our comfort and make difference for the greater good.
