“Only hang around people that are positive and make you feel good. Anybody who doesn’t make you feel good kick them to the curb and the earlier you start in your life the better. The minute anybody makes you feel weird and non included or not supported, you know, either beat it or tell them to beat it.”

♥ this!!! and it’s just that simple!!
Amen, I’m so there right now with certain people in my life! Time to say bye bye!
When you let go of those negative people in your life, it becomes so much easier
Seriously, the best thing I have read all week.
What if these people are your family? It’s not so easy, beneficial to a person, or “feel good” to kick them to the curb. Plus, no one “makes” someone feel bad. A person feels bad because of their personal reaction to the other- no matter how understandable or logical the reaction. In the face of aggression, some people are empowered and feel good, others cower and feel bad. Perhaps the best thing to do is determine why being around someone feels bad. It could be we need to adjust our attitude instead of taking shortcuts by ditching people.
