A Woman’s Right to Shoes

June 20, 2011 | by Fajr | Personal Style, Shoes | 30 Comments

“Not diamonds but heels are a girl’s best friend.”-William Rossi

There are few things in a woman’s life that bring as much excitement as a new pair of shoes. It’s the euphoric rush that accompanies trying on a fantastic pair that were seemingly made for your foot.

From $500 Louboutins to $5 canvas shoes, whether it’s a 6-inch stiletto or a Bass loafer flat, every woman deserves the right to beautiful shoes.

While all my shoes are created equal, here are a some of my favorites and a few new additions!

first row: (l to r) Chinese Laundry, Aldo, Aldo loafers, Miss America
second row: (l to r) Harajuku Lovers, Steve Madden, Envy, Bakers
third row: (l to r) Aldo platforms, Nine West, Steve Madden, Kelsi Dagger

Shoes Glorious Shoes! Isn’t that right Audrey?!

Have you exercised your right to shoes lately?

Ohhh I do, as much as I can and whenever I can :) I’m not a handbag person, I’m a shoe person and I believe every woman has a right to choose how many shoes she has and enjoy each pair she gets her hands on xxx

Your shoes are all so wonderful! I agree that everyone deserves pretty shoes.

I have the same pink chinese laundry ones! They’re so adorable! But do they give you the blisters they give me? I’m a little afraid to wear them after the first time, which is tragic.

Yes, I have! I ordered a pair of Rachel Comey for Urban Outfitters sandals earlier this week. They’re going to take a long time to get here as there’s a post office strike in Canada right now, but I can’t wait for them to arrive!

No I haven’t and it really sucks sometimes lol I hope to treat myself soon, I feel like I should have a lot of pairs so I don’t scuff up or wear down the few pairs I regularly wear – which typically happens. Lovely collection ya got there! :)
