I’m in New York for a few days indulging in some fashion blogging fun and events in and around Fashion Week. Check out the recaps of some cool events here and follow me on Twitter for random musings of my stay in the fashion capitol.
First stop was the Independent Fashion Bloggers Conference held at Milk Studios. Working with IFB for the past four years, I feel like it is as much apart of my blogging career as Stylish Thought. Getting to meet other bloggers I admire and read on a weekly basis was a huge part of me attending and getting to network and learn from my peers and industry insiders was a great experience.
Jennine and the IFB team work so hard to put together the conference twice a year, they deserve a round of applause for what they do for the fashion blogging community.
Snaps!

This giant girl was the traveling installation for Missoni for Target collection. She was the talk of the conference & she even had a giant iPhone! I felt kind of sorry for the guys that had to operate her the entire time…

THe KMS California Hair Stations… Press, Cut, Curl! Beautifying bloggers three at a time!
Shoes Glorious Shoes! From none other than shoe provocateur Aldo!
I was fascinated by the panel on “Is the Social Media Industry Broken” with Mark Beeching of Digitas and Bryce Gruber of The Luxury Spot.
Me and Yuli Ziv of Style Coalition. I will follow this woman to ends of blogging and back! She was dropping serious jewels on the panel and everyone should go buy her book “Fashion 2.0: Blogging Your Way to the Front Row”. She signed mine!
Me and Jasmin of Vintage Vandalizm. This woman does vintage/pinup like no other and seriously she is the coolest, most down to earth girl! I love me some Jasmin!
Me and the style savvy (and burgeoning TV personality) Donyale of Liv Lux Magazine
The fabulous Valerie and Jean of Idiosyncratic Fashionistas! True style transcends age and time. Besos to Val and Jean!
Stylin’ Bloggers that caught my eye!
Loved her colorful culottes / A pair of Cat-Eye glasses to die for / Brights! Enough said from Naja Diamond / Chris’s vintage Christian Lacroix jacket had me in awe / Monroe in a Maxi / Punky Style is a vintage queen, her dress and boots speak for themselves!
The conference was a great experience as usual and I look forward to connecting with all of the lovely bloggers I met throughout the year!

Wish I was there! *Sniff, sniff.
