This is nearly 2 weeks old but I almost forgot to blog about it (mostly because I’ve been busy blogging about other stuff and working on the store). Two weekends ago, I took on the heat and the vintage market to do some selling for my online vintage store Missfit Vintage at a local Philadelphia outdoor market. The store is in its infancy, still needing product photos, models and promotion.
The Marketplace @ the Piazza was an extremely large market with over 200 vendors for the initial summer kick-off! There were artist, photographers, handmade crafts and tons of other vintage sellers. It was great to network, talk with shoppers and other vendors. Here are some pics from the Missfit booth (though I didn’t get a shot of moi as I was a sweaty mess)
All in all it was a good day. This was my first time vending on my own (I come from a long line of vendors) and it was a learning experience in presentation, selling and getting your business name out there.

Congrats, girlie!!!
I need to go ahead and get on my grind so I can do the vendor thing. It seems like such a huge step for a business. I’m proud of you. =D *high-five*
Thanks gal! It was a good step in the right direction
Good for you! I can tell you have an eye for vintage and I wish you all the best with your store!
Thanks Chandra!
That red sequin shirt with bow accent looks pretty rad! The more sequins, the better. Am I right or am I right? Congratulations on your solo vending!
Girl, you can never have enough sequins! Thanks for checking it out!
