My obsession with pin ups and pin-up photography is well documented. Just read here. Last year around this time I did my first pin-up shoot with Philadelphia photographer Celeste Giuliano and ever since I have been hooked. The 50s and the pin-up look is back in a big way and with good reason. The sex appeal, the power, the silhouette of a thin waist and hourglass shape. It’s hyper-femininity and I simply adore it!
I recently did another shoot with Celeste, this time around the theme was me being a writer and fashion lover. Celeste has a wealth of vintage props and we used actual vintage pin-up magazines from 50s!!! The women in the magazines were BEAU-TI-FUL and catch the Audrey Hepburn cameo! Here is one of the final shots from the shoot!
The shoot was like being transported to another time. I had a blast posing, making funny faces and getting into character! Now all I need is a pin up name!
