The Agenda: Over the weekend, I headed to our Nation’s Captiol to celebrate my lady friends’ (Alicia & Keyana) birthdays, a little R&R, some indulgent soul food so good you wanna smack your momma and a bit of art therapy at the Corcoran Gallery.
The Magic: Dishing with the gal gang, listening to Drake’s new album obnoxiously loud, dining at the sexiest restaurant Oya, discovering vintage gems (more on that later) and taking in the beauty that is Washington, D.C. in the Fall.
The Lesson: Sometimes the most perfect weekends happen at a moment’s notice!

I didn’t do anything outrageous over the weekend but I did get to witness my little sister sewing an identical dress to one she saw in a Vogue mag..she’s got skills! I gotta cover that in a post lol.. I’m gonna sew with her over Thanksgiving break, super excited about learning how to use this damn machine that always tangles my thread!
