10 Things I’d Rather Do on a Rainy Day

We’re in that weird weather state on the East Coast; somewhere between summer, spring and fall. Sumpringall or something. Either way the weather is particularly finicky and we’ve been having random torrential downpours out of nowhere. Not one to complain about the weather, we need rain and it is extremely soothing, however I’d much rather be home under a fleece blanket watching When Harry met Sally.

Alas, since most jobs don’t close due to excessive soothing rain (what’s up with that?),  I can only fantasize about all the things I would love to do on a rainy day. Here are 10 things I’d rather be doing on a rainy day.

1. Cuddle Under a Snuggie-Like Blanket

2. Watch endless episodes of Sex and the City

3. Have a Riri-Beyonce-Gaga danceathon

4. Blog the day away!

5. Reignite my love of fashion magazine collaging

6. Take a series of totally indulgent (and totally necessary) naps

7. Fake organize my wardrobe; in reality play dress-up

8. Make a mani/pedi station and paint each nail a different color

9. Online Shop? But of course!

10. Relax; and unlike Missy Elliott withstand the rain
