So here’s my attempt at a What I Wore post. Please forgive me and don’t take this for anything other than amateur photography. Top Model I am not. This being a “fashion” blog I figured it needed more fashions. And as Dwight would say, “What’s a fashion blog with no fashion… NOTHING”. Gawd, I love those Real Housewives.

The weather was simply sublime this weekend and Philadelphia put on the festivities. My gal pal and I headed to the Piazza @ Schmidts for their Fashion Weekend for which coincidentally we arrived just in time to see all the vendors packing up. Fashionably late, eh? C’est la vie.

It’s officially winter and damn it, I’m not ready it yet. These pictures were taken last week when the sun was still shining and it was perfectly acceptable to frolic around in a light coat. What a difference a week makes. I bought this vintage leopard coat from Ebay and while it’s a bit big and not a cozy as I would prefer it’s a great cover up for a warm weather day. And I’ve been living in these boots from Target in so much that I think my other shoes are starting to get jealous.

Today was the perfect Fall day; light breeze, leaves yellowing in the sun, and the air crisp and clear. One of those days you can take off your jacket and enjoy the weather while it lasts.  Walking along the waterfront does wonders to clear your mind and became the perfect setting for an impromptu fall fashion photo shoot. You’ll be seeing more of this location.

I call this my Zoey Dress because it reminds me of Zooey Deschanel, who’s style I admire.

I’ve realized that I have a serious love/hate relationship with plaid. Partly because I hate the lumberjack association, but seemingly I’m drawn to plaid print because it finds its way into my wardrobe. Oh well if I have to be mistaken for a burly, bearded Wisconsinite because of this amazing ruffled wrap dress, so be it.

I bought these suede Jeffrey Campbell lace-tie wedges (not very clear here) and they’re soooooo comfy they are quickly becoming my favorite shoes. Maybe I’ll pair this dress with a pair of boots for a full-on autumn look.  What do you think?

Starting a new job, finally deciding to furnish my apartment and working on what seems like a million side projects I barely celebrated my birthday and am steaming ahead through September. So when my great friend, former roomie and fellow Virgo decided to spend her 25th bday in a limo riding to Atlantic City I leaped at the opportunity to cut loose!

I haven’t dressed up in ages (as I haven’t gone anywhere in ages) and getting the chance to get dolled up, ride in a limo, have a stocked bar and hang with my CORE was exhilarating!

With the theme “Limo Ride of Debauchery”, I thought a 70′s vintage look was in order. I piled on tons of rhinestones and costume jewelry and a bedazzled vintage denim jacket. I love role-playing with what I wear.
