What I Wore: Bring on the Sunshine

June 21, 2011 | by Fajr | Fashion, What I Wore | 9 Comments

Well this whomps! It’s the first day of summer and the sun has decided to hide it’s lovely face from us after weeks of constant heat. What’s up with that? Well not one to let one monkey stop my show, I decided to wear a sundress irregardless if there is sun. Take that non-existent sun!

Anywho, this vintage dress is one of the few maxi dresses I own. It was given to me by my friend Angelica; it was her late aunt’s. The bright hibiscus print had me at hello and the bottom ruffle adds a cool and cute element. The color is perfection and I bring it out every summer and wear it to death, so expect to see more of it. Hopefully the sun will come out and join the bright party as well!

Excuse the stank face. No sun + No Coffee= Not Fajr’s Shining Moment.

Sometimes you have to dress for the weather you want! I wouldn’t mind a sunless day with all of the 100 degree days we’ve been having!

That dress looks amazing on you, and I love that you paired it with a trench vest!
